I had a friend on facebook contact me to ask if I could make a cover for a zx950 style amp he was making. It sounded interesting and fun and it took a little bit of work but I think it came out looking amazing. I have also been experimenting with adding color to the engraving.

To practice the bends and get a jigg ready for it I decided to make a cover for the power core I won in a waffle. This was designed and built by jason campbell to 66.6 farads and I realized with a little work I could make a new cover for it. The problem there was that then I needed to make the inside look pretty and even pg never intended for that originally. I made the copper electrodes and rerouted some wiring to hide it and covered the rest with tech flex. I also experimented with the gold inlay and I am really happy with how it came out although right at the end I wish I had added a volt meter instead of the pg logo in the top left.

This is hidden in the very back corner

and here there is a little pg logo photo bombing the tri-lights.

For some reason the pic of the other side didn't load where it says it was designed/built by jason. Sometimes imgure seems to take a little bit when it wants to.
