Amplifier repair

Is anyone on these boards available to do repairs? I have an elite .5 that is in protect mode. I disconnected all the power and speaker connections and then reconnected it and it will not come out of protect mode. It has been in my daily driver for the last 10 years and I've been really happy with it. I never really pushed it very hard. The substage was at 1 ohm, within tolerance for the amp, but I rarely get after it anymore! Prior to the protect mode the sub thumped a few times while the radio was off and then one day I was listening to a podcast, the sub thumped twice and then everything died. If it is something somebody is willing to take on I may be able to open it up and get some pictures for you in advance if that is beneficial. I know there's not a lot of traffic on this site but I figured those that are still around our knowledgeable, passionate and perhaps willing.

Willing to ship to anywhere in the US

Thanks for reaching out! I am located in Bryan Texas, just outside of Houston. I knew there was not a lot of traffic left on the site but I still recognize several of the names from 10+ years ago when I frequented the site much more often. Glad that there are still some people sticking around.

I'm willing to ship it anywhere in the US.
