Just checking to see if anyone tried it out since it is now available? I am in the last stage of getting all of my equipment. Any opinions are welcomed.

I have had problems with the face motor, and currently I have problems with playing CD's, it pauses during play. EQ is extremely hard to adjust. You have to use the box for iPod, it's not full speed so you have to select a song and re-plug it back up. Also, when I bought mine they were still on the market so I feel now that I overpayed for mine.

Overall, it's a good unit with a lot of "bells and whistles", but they are discontinued now, why not look for something more up to date.

I think he got it mixed up with the older model  The unit looks promising, but it could have used more bands of eq. I havent personally seen the unit yet, but it looks pretty basic looks wise. Alpine should have done more with it. I wouldnt mind getting my hands on one though. I dont expect it to compete with pioneers 880, or eclipse's 7100.

It does look to be very promising. From what I have read the Imprint technology is suppose to have over 500 bands of eq. If all goes well, I think that I may have found my next headunit. I'm looking forward to more reviews before I pull the trigger.
