Can someone please confirm or correct me on what exactly the wiring is from PG's RDDP/SDT kits, TBAT's, Bass Cube to remote, and whatever other items have the phone cord type connections. I have heard and was told that they are simply cat5 cabling. :? :?

The early balanced systems (TBA, EQ230, etc) used a shielded PS/2 cable.

The later balanced systems (TBA, ZPA, EQ232 etc) all run on shielded cat5.

The RDDP setup used cat5.

The RMD, Basscube and LPL use phone cord.

I think that's it?

Remember that RJ style connectors come in several flavours - depending on application.

Cat5 is 4 pair and needs to termnate on an RJ-45.
Phone or line cord is a single or dual pair and terminates on an RJ-11.
An RJ-11 will fit into an RJ-45 cavity if only the centre pairs are needed.
