Amp cleaning

I just got a new-to-me MPS2500. Of course the first thing I did was take the bottom off to take a peek. Obviously I wasn't the first curious one because there is greasy fingerprints and smudges all over in there.

I seem to remember a thread on the old forum about using a q-tip and_______? I can't remember what it was. Also....is there anything that I should keep this away from? Or can I scrub down everything in there?

Also, the amp was damaged in shipping. One of the speaker terminals was broken. Is there an online parts supplier that has these. Or am I going to have to call PG and Hope they have one left? Anyone have one off a broken amp?

Thanks,

Jason

Ouches....sorry it got damaged... :( good luck cleaning it! I know nothing about the insides of amps...I am sure someone will come and fill you in on what you can/need to do to clean em up.

A 2600 PSI power washer set to "Drill a Hole to China" will remove most smudges.

I'm also not up on current technique/product for this operation. I need to clean up my FAS guts this coming off season. I have the ability, just not the knowledge.
Doc?

Isopropyl alcohol works really well and you can slosh it around wherever needed.
