Some asshat on the FJ Cruiser forum is bashing the Xenon line. Quote from said asshat "actually they werent a very good amp. they were known to not have a flat frequency response."

So anybody care to help me out here?

What. The amps don't play flat? Why don't you check where HE got HIS information from first? That's the stupidest shit I've ever heard

Throw a couple of these at him first... There are frequency response curves for the Zapco and X100.2. Both amps have a whopping 0.5 decibel difference at 20Hz. Totally audible!

The original poster is from Baytown which is about 20 minutes from me. If he wants to drive down here (Texas City) he can listen to my fronts, I'm sure he will be impressed. My sub is ok, but still needs work.

PS: ask him what Xenon amps he's looking at buying so I can tell you if I have it or not.

Thanks for the back up bdubs!! I'm the same way, he had no reason to bash the Xenon's other than he looked at a piece of paper somewhere once. It bugs the shit out of me!!
