Add another speaker terminal to the box.

good point...i dont compete and my box is secured down pretty well so i never considered that.

you could go with the neutrik route, but you would have to seal the back of the female end with silicon/hotglue/similer

if a fuckin judge docks you points because the led is on the sub then
i would pull that elite out ofthe car and beat them over the head with it
because that is some of the most biased bull shit i everheard

thats like syaing that because your system is in a rav 4 instead of a 4 runner that im gonna penelize you..

i feel a competitor should never get docked points due to appereance of a manufactors product

unless the install just looks totally against the product..

and basically it gets to that point that your at the mercy of some dumbass who doesnt like the color blu....

Huh brenz?

He just didn't want metal terminals with live power connected to them. The Neutrik plugs keep the connection safe, so that you can't short it out accidentally.

I don't think it's a problem that there are LEDs on the sub though :?

no no, hes saying the judge would potentially penalize him if he used a normal binding post to make the connection into his sub box because it would leave exposed wire terminations.

yeah i got told that i would be docked 10 points for not having a safe instaltion. like if i ran the power cable that was too small? i think u actually get points for having a led on the sub because its in styling witht he rest of the system?
