So I just want to make sure I am not missing anything here. I need to build 2 LPL's for my setup and I dont see the point is spending $25 on one.

I will need for each one:

50.0k ohm potentiometer - rotary logarithmic, 1/5 watt, 20%
RJ11 4 pin telephone connector
2 pair telephone cable

Solder the cable between the two and off I go right?

Anything I am missing?

Why are you running two LPLs?

Thanks for the link. Thats where I got the pot value, but it doesnt really saw what taper the pot is, or anything like that.

One for the midbass 8's and one for the sub... I have both a 204A and 406A in my system.

good deal, sounds like you have all the info you need.

i still buy though bc i can usually find em for ~$15 and after i round up all the parts i need and build one, it isnt really worth my time to save the $7 in parts

True... the cheapest I found was $25 from the local dealer and aout $20 on fleabay..

Since my dad is a phone repairman, all I need to buy is the pots. Digikey has them for like .65 each and I need parts to build my RNET's as well so...
