Whats in the RX7??? Small block Chev??

I had a series II in silver with Simmons 3 piece wheels and an extended port 12a with mechanical secondary's. Owned it for almost 10 years before I sold it. Fun little car.

Mine had OLD Alpine 5953 & 3339 in the dash with an M44 (flushed into the rear seat) running Alpine Reference 3 ways (6, 5, 1) in rebuilt doors through an Alpine copper case passive. Ran a JL Audio 12w6 in the spare tyre well.

Oh how I miss it

wow, the sidepipes on that thing have had to leave a mark on someone calf by now.

That thing looks like the most dimented match box car I have ever seen and it must handle like one too. 355 hp?

They are a weapon with that sort of power. Unfortunately it blunts the handling slightly since the chev weighs so much more than a rotary. Still heaps of fun though.

Damn Thunderdome, McIntosh. I wish i could afford some of that. My uncle had a Mcintosh theatre in his house down in dallas. Everything from the the cd player, DAC, Amps, Speakers. Everything mac and i got to tell you that is the most realistic shit i ever heard. Very impressive. But i think that setup cost more than the house i grew up in. Also, how old are those waveguides? very nice

actually you wouldn,t believe how well it still handles by using a lot of aluminum on the engine and the lightweight powerglide Iv,e only increased around 150lbs up front then moved the battery to the rear 25lbs and installed around 100lbs of stereo in rear still almost 50-50 feels pretty good only bitch is the manual steering box going to do something with that this year.

Thanks man I,m hoping for a long hot, dry summer this year as I am going to rebuild the whole interior mostly with fiberglass front dash ,centre console, all new in the back as well and I,f I,m really ambitious and the weather cooperates a one piece carbon fibre front end that flips forward like the original hood but with bumper straight down at the front as she gets a little floaty over 100mph to much air getting under.

heres a shot of the dash idea I,m using not exact but like this with the old school speedo.

Wouldn't stop me from driving it though....for sure

it was fun but way to underpowered being blown away by everything on the road at 101 hp was sad so I had to improve it a bit still handles the same as the stereo offsets the engine weight
