Sealing w/o sealing

Need some creative ideas guys.
Heres my trunk right now...
I want to seal it off from the cabin but w/o using the ability to fold down my seats. Any ideas?
Only thing I've come up with is mount a piece of MDF to the back seats where the xenons are currently then add mdf to the edge of the car where the seats rest agianst when they are shut. Then add a line rubber lining to set a tight seal....lame but only thing I can think of.

How about a foam in type job? If not look at something like Hosehead did with his frank.

brandon, thats what i would try and do...foam instead of rubber....
a "rectangle" of MDF with 2" think sides, and then an actual sheet of mdf with the xenons on it closes onto it

I just came up with an idea...should work pretty well.
Pretty much build up that "smaller" section of the trunk like DOC did with that MS1000ta install. Mount what ever amps I have in their behind a window cut add hinges to the bottom of that piece and and the floor piece. Little Speaker Selant tape with two to four screws to hold it in place.
Then When I need the full trunk I can fold down that front piece with the amps on it.
Lol Make sense, kinda like what hosehead has?

I'm doing a build along the same lines. Here is my current setup in another car. I lose my pass through and the sub box is sealed. I lose half my trunk space as well.

In my project car (the exact same ride) I'd like to fire my subs into the cabin and retain the fold down like your doing. I haven't looked at it in a few weeks as I'm traveilling on business. I'm leaning toward building an amp rack with a drawer to fit under the parcel shelf and the "drawer" will pull out to reveal the amps and processors from the trunk side. I will construct two sealed sub boxes, each housing a single 10 or 12" sub that can be placed anywhere in the trunk, depending on items carried in that space. I'll use velcro feet on the bottom to secure each box to the factory carpet regardless of placement in the trunk.
