I have a PG Xenon 1200.1 that I think blew on me. When it was installed the protection light start blinking. The installer couldnt figure out the problem so I left. When I got home I put the fuse back in and see if it would play but I got a cloud of smoke instead. After that I just took it out and stored it in my room. When I get back from Iraq I want to get it fixed instead of buying another amp because it played my Vega 15's pretty good. Are there any repair guys on here that can possibly check it out?

Someone talking about me    I can help or you can send it to PG either way you will be pounding again soon. If I can be of help just PM me, or post here again with your questions.

Oh by the way the smoke was your power supply dieing probably because of shorted output Fets < A dead short on the amp> The protection circuit failed to save you the last time you fired it up and smoke came out, Sorry but it happens, and yes now its worse then before    :( ...C

PG charges a flat rate repair that is extremely cheap and highly recommended:

There you go the link to PG for service info. Thanks Tom :)

Tom's right as your amp is pretty much toast inside, if I am correct in my remote judgment call on its condition. It will be a total rebuild for all the power devices, and thats pretty much the whole amp. And don't think for a minute its a bad amp, as most class D amps go this way < something to do with the totally unique design that class D represents. But not brand name specific as I see them them all go this way, and I do see them all...C :)

Plus I am backed up currently and have put my walkins on a two week wait till I get caught up, C

Thanks for the help. I thought about giving it away but it was too expensive to do that. Will PG accept my amp in a different box? I cant find the original box for it.

I'll take it !!! how much to ship to Cali.   PG doesn't care about boxing so much but box it well to get it there, I am sure they can a new box to return it in.....
