THe reference or Premium line are they any good? They used to be an arm and leg now the price on them is pretty good. Any one try them out ?

nope... well yes, but no... pass on them an you won't be disappointed... no spl worth a damn, the reference series had more of an spl. and we are talking equivelent output to an 8" jl pg.... yada yada yada

Are these the new Hifonics ones, or the older Rockford built ones?

Looks like the older ones, Great SQ, horrible spl, and this from a Quart guy. New stuff isnt hi-fonics, they just own the rights to distribute the stuff in the us.
