I'm sending in an X1200.1 to PG for repair. Their site says that the flat rate doesn't include cosmetic items, circuit boards or amps that had unauthorized repair.
I had a shop look at the amp and they may have paritally disassembled it but no repairs were done. Is PG going to scoff at this?
I was told I have 4 bad outputs. Will all the outputs get replaced or just the 4 bad ones? Is that something that should be covered under their normal flat rate?
Do I send a check with the amp or pay later?
I know some of these questions will be answered by PG when I call for my authorization number but I was just wondering.
Thanks,
Rob

they are supposingly friendly and helpful also.
they called me up while they were fixing my last amp and told me about the FETs they were replacing and what the fix entailed.
then (since im Portland local) they guy offered to drive it by my office since the shipping address was on his way home.
of course this was before the layoffs, but hopefully some of that customer service is still there
