I really didn't have much time to do squat while in the land of sin. I was stuck in the booth and was running around like a headless chicken 90% of the time.

Here are the pics that I could get for you all, if you want to please locate the .zip file and save to your computer as my bandwidth is shaky.

The Roadster66 looks REALLY good.

The Supra also looks much better in your pictures. I really like the flushed bodywork.

Errin, I put the pics on this site to save your bandwidth (edited your URL), and made the thread public.

I hate that middle thing tho. Just takes away for the classy brushed metal look and adds that xenon type look it it. If that thing can be taken off I may have to find myself one because the rest of it looks that damn good.

Any info on it...specs, guts, and what two rsd amps is it?

Looking at the specs, I'd say 500.4 + 600.1

I wonder where they hid the fans on this one? On the bottom maybe? Damn... if the RSD's looked anywhere near as classy as this does, I'd be all over them.

Speaking of the specs, I wonder why all of the points use the sum equation symbol... Looks like there was some character conversion problems when it was printed (or was it intentional?). Also... powersuply!

That would make it the first top-of-the-line PG amp series without fans since the MS series... Hmm...

x2.. Looks great, besides the plastic in the middle. The plastic looks so out of place.. Who on earth thought of putting that crap in the middle... Overall I like the looks.. They went back to a more ole skool look, which I like, minus the middle piece..

M and MS were the only top of the line amps without fans.

ZPA/ZX and on have all had one or two.

I would definitely consider M to be "top of the line", along with the others... MS, MPS, ZPA, ZX, Ti, Xenon, RSD.

Only reason why I said M wasnt was I am almost postitive reading some where on the SB that the line was realeased to a be below the MS....but I will agree w. you def high end amp.

I agree w/ all on that list but I still cant make my mind up about the RSd until I try it out.

The RSd amps are based on the MS design so no fan all heatsink.

The Roadster 66 is a 500.4 + 600.1 and no plastic, it is all aluminum.

Looks like the heatsink mass is on the bottom then... so I would imagine they would have no problem being installed upside down? Hmmm!

Also... aluminum = win! I wish I could fit that puppy, but I guess I already have a Ti900.7 that does everything with slightly less wattage.

The mass is on the sides right where the FET's clamp down.

Even better... is this the same across the whole RSD series?

Posted: Mon Jan 15, 2007 2:52 pm

yes.

However in regard to the Roadster66 the mass is in the top.

That middle piece still takes away from some of the class...

in all honesty if phoenix gold made the heatsinks look like the
route 66 in the picture on the rsd amps i think they would look alot better

tell your marketing team i said that it would work.

You can probably find just about every animal on the planet in Vegas. My bet is they're real.

Yes, they ran when I had the "red hot" sauce in hand.
