I would like to try one out because it doesn't look like the type of sub I would have to upgrade my electrical system for : ) and it is still gonne be PG quality, I was impressed with the RSd gear I had however shortlived it ended up being.
I wonder if RMS will really be 600 or if it is gonna need at least 1k...
What happend to the original one?? This one looks horrible, and cheap in comparison. ..600 watts? That sucks.. Looks like pg blew it again. Was hoping for a 12d elite level sub..
How about a nice chrome magnet like the rsdc had.. Nothing about this sub screams out competition. With that said, i guess ill give it the benefit of the doubt, but its hard to at this point.

i wish they had box specs
I am going to guess that they will be releasing them after ces next year.. I may have to wait and see how they turn out first with some reviews, oh and price of course..

If you take of the ridic magnet boot does it at least look a little better? And the trim ring? I will agree the cone looks nice, just the rubber parts kill it.
Any price point? Id have to guess right around $250 to $300 msrp

Can one send others to war if hes not willing to go himself?
I was a bit shocked by the 600 rating... but then I look and see that the RSDs are now rated at 350? I thought they were 500 just like the other top of the line PG subs before them. Hmm...

What about the power handling though? Why 600 watts. That doesnt say competition to me. That says rsds..

Not only that, but they appear to be half the size as the proto type rsdcs..

600 watts can over power a Sq oriented system...you really dont need more then that. I dont think PG designs woofers for the extreme SPLers like yourself. With that said I know this thing can take at least 1500 watts w/o a problem, well at least the protos.

I am still stunned at the rating, given all the hype for this sub, and seeing as it was supposed to be a elite replacement. I wasnt expecting an all out spl sub, just something on the lines of the elite power, and volume wise. Taking one look at this thing does not look up to the task, but time will tell..
I hate to say it but they are using similar materials that the Kicker W7 uses for elastomer's, and cone materials. At least by the description this is what I read, perhaps the description could be misleading to me.
What is the X max ? I don't see all the real tech spec's I am use to seeing with PG products. I guess thats the Rodin effect in action
I would like to see all the real spec's for the driver before I pass any judgment......C
