use the rsd passive xover for 2 weeks to a month to get a feel for how the set should sound. Use that as your reference, and improve from there.

Try about 2.5khz w/ 12db slope or 3khz w/ a 24 db slope

I had my tweets high passed at 3200 which I was Errins suggestion as to what would be best for running these comps active and obviously the mid low passed at 3200. I had the mid high passed at 50 before my sub was installed.

It sounded good but I ultimately went passive with my comps.

I never took the time like Bdubs suggested to get used to the volume they should have been playing at if they were running passive so I could adjust them accordingly when changed to active(but I should have).

My tweets active were always screaming and I constantly found myself turning the tweet gain down through my deck even though I was only feeding them like 10 watts.

I would agree w/ errin if the mid can go up that high, when you cross higher it prevents a "floating soundstage"
