Hi to everybody , I'm new here.
I have a question and a problem with my PG amps.
I had a Ti 1000.2 with 1 channel off .Too expensive to get fixed.
Now it's the turn of my Ti 600.2, with the same problem.
I'm just unlucky, or it's normal for the Ti series ?

were you using them in the same application?
i would guess you are just unlucky. they are a pretty beefy amp.
although, by the numbers, those are the amps PG repairs the most of (could be becasue they sold so damn many, and owners might not deem some of the lower lines worth sending in....)

Assuming your gains are set properly, I haven't heard of many Ti amplifier failures at all... ESPECIALLY with the two channel amps.
Were your amplifiers driving the same set of speakers? Perhaps one speaker is partially blown and would short out the amplifier for brief periods. That would be a pretty strange case though...
Not sure what to say. If you were in America, it is very cheap to repair those amps. Unfortunately in Italy it is probably cheaper to have an amp technician repair them.

The Ti 1000.2 was used, so maybe previously broken.
But the I bought the Ti 600.2 new.
It drives a Morel Supremo 6 midwoofer.
I have a Ti 400.2 too. It drives the tweeter. The system speakers is brand new.
Gains are set properly, the only thing I can think about is that there isn't a lot of air where they are located in the boot.

they shouldn't be that hot driving a midbass driver, and having fans. i think you just had some crap luck.
so were the 1000.2 and 600.2 driving the same speakers? did the same channel fail?
the only other thing i can think of is a short in the wire somewhere.

Ya I have several TI amps myself...and havent had any real issues. Only one of my 900.7's has a bad channel...but that is the way i got it...used.
my other 900.7 is fine...TI 1200.1 works great.
