What is the max input voltage (ie....16 volts batteries and alternator ) will the PG amps take......I am mostly concearned with the ZX models--that's what I have-- but would be interested to know all of them if someone knows.
Thanks.
Acceptable input voltage????

I think you are referring to the power input, not the RCA signal voltage level?
If so, I would assume they would shut down with 16V or greater.
The power supply capacitors on PG amps are 16V, and if you go too far beyond their range of tolerance, they will go into meltdown and maybe explode. I would be willing to bet some other component would fail prior to the caps though, when exceeding the input voltage.

Yes power input not RCA voltage. I thought that I had read a spec somewhere stating 15 volts but could not find it again.....I think it actually had a range of like 11-15 but like I said could not find it again. I was mostly just curious if you or C could shed a little light. I am not trying to push the envelope--more trying to educate myself on PG.
