After finding out that Q-forms aren't all they're cracked up to be, what I will have to do is start with an RSd 6.5cs set in the front doors and dash openings...bummer considering what I originally had in mind but since everyone is speaking so highly of the comps, I am hoping I won't be disappointed with just the one set. I am going to power the one pair heavier to compensate for the missing pair. I want to use a Ti600.2. I posted this on SB also so sorry if any of you see it twice.

1.How tough is it to take the door panels off and run wire in a mk3 VW Golf?
2.Is it hard to run a heavier guage wire up to the tweeter?
3.Is it hard to change from a factory tweeter to an aftermarket tweeter?(the factory tweet looks as if it is fixed in place and I would have to cut it out)

if you go with the rsd's, the tweet already has 16awg lead coming off of it so, running anything bigger up to it wouldn't do much good

Don't worry about the door panels, unless you are planning on doing full door deadening. Just remove the grill and you can fish the wire through that 3 inch wire boot pretty easily, be careful though I have seen a few models where the door grill does not just pop off.

Not really you are however better off dropping the wire from the top and working your way downward.

The factory tweet is a plate style, get a piece of metal back strap paint it black cut it to a length to fit, bend it to direct the tweeter to the appropriate angle you wish, then attach the tweeter to the strap. Keep in mind a tweeter does not need to be enclosed.
