After straightening out issues I had w/Photobucket, I can now show the pics of the clarion 7770 HU I got. As well as the DRX9375R and the DPH9300, the 7770 being a collectors item and same w/the 9300. I have the 9375 still to "make use/operate" the 9300 as it's controlled only through a HU.

Sorry about the glare. I'm a clarion HU freak all the way. If they'd just make a HU w/higher outputs than 4v.
My first HU was a clarion 6770, just under the 7770. So I had to get it.
Let me know your thoughts.

All those older HU's need new caps through out to keep them running noise free, and Hi-Fi level. Just like 15 year old amps all the caps go bad in HU's also. The guys in my shop that do Hu's replace them by the dozens on a regular basis on older hu's.
Those are nice units though...

Looks good. I miss my 7770. I always had plans for a 7770 and 920eq combo. I'd still like to get a 920 though. That style of drx deck is about the last Clarion I like though. I hate the looks of their new stuff. The last new deck I bought was a drx8175. Seems I'm always just a few years behind everyone else.

I have (from 1997 I guess - I bought it new) a brand new Clarion DRX9575Rz (I think that it was that description... I was supposed to take a pic, but it was waaay stuffed down in my stereo-stuff). This was the first edition with the "moving frontpanel"
I also have the 12 CD-shifter, also new...

This is it. That's my winning auction. Just got it for $10.50 + S&H.
Now to find the DPH920 for it IF it works. If not it'll be a pretty paper weight.

Yeah, I must agree - as I did pay like 1400 or 1500 USD for my HU back in '97.
10 bucks is a steal of a deal, hehe...
