Is there anyway to make a bass cube work using a lpl 44 or any other device for volume and turn on?

No the remote dial is on a small circuit board. You can order the part through PG/Rodin relatively cheap.
part # "POPBQREMOTE"
I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.
