How is the reliability of Brax?
I have seen a few damaged by abuse local to to Bay area. Blown RCA ground circuits and blown channels. I would guess that beside the pretty case that they have the same parts and design as most other amps and therefore can be blown like most other amps.
Remember if a amp company builds a blow out proof amp then you will never buy anymore amps, just like the car companies
They want return business.....

Well look at the number of OLD PG amps still working and being restored to service after all these years. Now don't you think PG would have loved to sell all those folks new amps???? I think it would have kept them financially in the black for sure.
The facts are that there is X amount of market share for any given brand, after that its repeat business that floats a company, and not everyone loves PG like we do..Silly people eh?
now this is a simplistic point of view that does not take into account market growth potential, but even with those numbers in the picture its a fleeting market as the baby boomers are the car stereo boom time, as ther were less children coming of age to buy into this market due ti the great age shift occurring in this country... Just something to think about when contemplating a future in car audio.....as there are less young people then ever before in this country currently as we approach the 80% baby boomer in retirement time coming as I type, in fact its already started the first baby boomer has already applied for Social Security just last year....
We are becoming a country of old people just something to think about as its as real as it gets. Thats why we need illegal immigration to help offset the birth rate and age shift going on in this country.. Wild thing to think about but it does explain a bunch of current thinking and directions we are headed into....of course I could stoned also

And concerning the reliability in comparison with it the other brands (Brax, PPI, JL Audio, PG, RF)?chaplin wrote:Hihi I understand. I rather wanted to know if there were major problems and in comparison with PG, Zapco, etc.
Thus the most solid series is the M-MS-MPS? And the most musical?
