What would cause an amp to not turn off.... power on the remote wire all the time, but anything internal in the amp?

I had this happen on a ZX500. It was a shorted BJT in the PWM controller power on circuit. Simple fix if you find the bad part.

Get out a multimeter, and measure power across your ground and remote terminals. Ensure power goes to 0v when you switch off your headunit. Make sure there are no stray wires from the power terminal touching it!
