RSd Configuration

Post by Phoenixcolt »

I have a Ti600.2 and I changed my plans a bit so my comps will be run off an rsd500.4 once I get one and I am thinking about running an rsd 2 ohm dvc with one channel to each voice coil of the 600.2. Good idea or bad idea? 10 or 12?

ti600.2 on the sub will work fine.

the RSD 12 is a truly great sub for EVERYTHING. i keep experimenting with other subs...but keep ending aback to the conclusion that a rsd 12 is what i should go with.

also, rsd's only come in a SVC or a Duel 4 config

I guess I can run an SVC 4 ohm, 600.2 bridged, I will still get my 600 watts to it. The only real benefit of a dvc is wiring configurations right? Performance should be equal.

yep, the SVC will sound exactly the same.

and even though it seems like a dvc sub will have more wiring options....i can think of any situations where a duel2 would have a benefit over a SVC4.... unless you are in an SPL comp and want to run one amp to each coil...
