How common are Phoenix Gold MQ-430's ? Would that be a good match with an ms275 running a sub and the 4 channel for the front stage?

A 4 channel front stage? Separate channels for tweets and mids? Or do you plan on bridging the MQ430? Tri-linear? More info please.

MQ430's are hard to find, but pop up for sale now and then.
They are also used on the "soft" side of a Frank Amp 'N Stein - an MS2125 is the other end.
I run qty 4 KEF 6.5" midbass drivers actively with an MQ430 - Front stage and rear fill. They see all signals between 90 and 600 hz. In a word - outstanding. In your chest midbass. I run a separate Alpine amp for my 4 tweets.
I suggest an MQ430 would compliment a bridged MS275 quite nicely, but it would depend on the drivers used, their location, active or passive etc. Also, with the age of these units, cap replacement is recommended, but you'll have a 10 year amp with old school power.

I was thinking 2 channels for rear fill and 2 for the front. I found an old set of crystal components, I think from like maybe 94 that might fit in my system.
