Im getting ready for my next install. I want to use some of the gear thats just sitting in my closet.

I have 2 sets of elite 6 speakers and plan to get 1 - 12"RSDc sub. I want to run this off my outlaw amp (m50 and m100) and my deck has 8v pre outs, and i have a 1 farad cap. I was going to run an eq, and bass cube, but decided to keep it as simple as possible. I want to know how i could go abouts running 2 sets of elite components, and 1 sub off of two 2 channel amps?.

Thanks alot guys. Always love hearing your ideas and input.

Any way you look at this setup, you're going to loose some control over balance and/or fade, as I see it. Of course, I'm no genius so take that for what it's worth.

You could run the front elites from the M50, each side using a channel, then run the rear elites off one channel on the M100 and the RSdC off the other. I don't think this would be that optimal though as you'd loose balance on the rear speakers this way and the power balance between front/right might be skewed.

Do you have the option of running the rear Elites off your deck/head unit? This is how I would set it up if I was you. M50 powering the fronts (one channel per side), HU powering the rears and M100 powering the sub.

Edit: It's also worth noting that the M-series amps were designed with 2V inputs in mind. I find driving my inputs any more than 2V with test tones is overdriving them.

I was thinking about running the 2 sets of components off the m100 and the sub off the m50.

Depends where you want the power, I guess but I think your idea is probably better.

The M50 will do what... 250W-ish bridged at 2 ohms? The M100 will do 2 x 185W @ 4 ohms. That's probably better balanced than my suggestion of 2 x 85W and 500W bridged, lol.

Anyone else with some ideas?
