Maybe, with the gains set low and with fan cooling.

2ohms mono would be much safer....

Yes it would , it has a switch in the inside which switches between high voltage and high currentl , I think the red dot indicates high current, but like the guys say , run fans to keep her cool.

Ahh and why do you even need to run a 1 ohm load ?? Sorry but I feel that 1 ohm loads are for comp cars

So why 1 ohm ???

a ms-275 running 4 ohms mono can over heat and shutdown under the right circumstances.
now if you place a MS-275 in a MS-2125 sink with fan cooling I think your 1 ohm rating could be run for a while, with only issue being over current condition to be dealt with....

I had found a DVC 2ohm sub and wanna squeeze everything I can fron a 275. Im extremely space limited and weight conscious or Id just get monster amps.

get two Ms-275's one for each 2 ohm coil it should blast even with low gains and the two MS-275's could fit in a shroud if you can find one.. just a thought...C

I have 2 ms275s.. I was not aware you could have seperate amps run seperate coils on the same sub. Would you have to set the gains with a DMM?

Well in a perfect world yes a gain match must be done to assure equal output from both amps. But at least he could get the amps to run for a while longer than running a single MS-275 at 1/2 ohm per channel load like he was talking about. I have seen others run two Xenon 600.1's into a 12 d elite with dual voice coils.

now if I was him I would only consider a class d amp like those made by PG for the load he wants to run. The amps cost less and live longer, but I am thinking in a perfect world again aren't I ??... :) :)

Im not really gonna do that I think. Im gonna keep the 2 ms275s and get rid of the 2125 and 2220. Im not into huge sound, just a good solid old school system.

Besides, my car got a knock today and Im lookin at rebuilding an engine. Need to keep this kind of on the cheap.

Buy a 600 watt Xenon amp and hook up the 4 ohm or 1 ohm load you can do and bump the life out of that woofer, and never worry about heat or load consideration EVER !!! take the easy road use a class D amp and do as you wish with plenty of power that should not get hot and spoil your day...C
