Spin off topic POS.....Not really

It is a little black box with a couple LED's on it and some dials. Out one side is a pig tail with a pair of male rca's and a pair of female rca's. next to that is a (+ - R) set of wires hanging out.
This thing is a Fugly abortion of PG's darkest bowels.
There were 6 of these made and all but one went into the serious SQ cars of the day that also competed in "legal" SPL.
During that time period there was no system tweaking allowed from one comp to the next, only volume adjusting.
This unit is essentially a threshold based BASScube. So instead of having a knob with an on/off switch it's using a voltage sense that kicks it on to a pre-determined setting.

Errin is this sounds similar to a product that I used to use from MTX call the "little black box".
they declared them illegal shortly after it was realized what this item allowed you to do.

It is a similar item, but the MTX version was produced after they realized how PG was kicking their asses in comp........oh and that unit is sexy compared to the PG version....

I remember those days. PG had it in for MTX. I can remember shows when all I heard coming from the PG guys was MTX this and MTX that. How they always cheated and how PG would be kicking thier ass with some new secret device. And there was that Titanium looking power display I was given to incorporate into my install that didn't do anything but drove the MTX guys wild trying to figure out what it did.
I still have an MTX LSB1 also. For sale if anyone's interested.

the rockford symetry was the shit.
it had that progamable global settings that allowed you to change your settings with a single change in volume knob.
those were the good ole days.
hey errin i heard of that devise from pg but i thought it was only a rumor
