Has anybody had a chance to try the RSdC 10 out sealed yet? I've got 2 coming Friday and want to build a quick box to tide me over for a while...
I was thinking of doing somewhere between .8 and 1.0cf total for the 2, and then play with polyfill a bit... any thoughts?
Power will ultimately be 800w to each sub...

If they are anything like the regular RSD 10's, they work great in 0.5-0.6cuft.

Winisd shows a box of .588 with a qtc of .703 sealed. But shows the optimal SQ box as a ported box 1.238ft^3 tunned to 26hz. The ported box shows a flat response all the way down to 32hz.

Is that .42 before or after the .09 for sub displacement?

Keep in mind this is flat open air response... not flat in-car.
In the car you will have acoustical gain, due to the small enclosed nature of the vehicle, which adds ~12dB/oct at ~60Hz or so. Because of this, a "flat" open air response will have very loud low end in a car.
0.6cuft sealed is probably as flat in-car as you can get it.

stipud is right.
Majette, the port can be calculated here according to what size of box you want:
http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html
or
http://www.bcae1.com/spboxnew2.htm (my favorite)
You will probably have to go with a slot port, because the round ports are going to be too long. An example: a slot port of 1"x 4" x 11.17"long, will get the 26hz, but you will have to watch for port noise, which in this example will be audible at 38hz and below with 600wrms.
