XS or XMAX?

Post by smgreen20 »

I have a 10" XMAX, but I like the looks of the XS more. I know you don't, well..... I don't anyway, look at the sub while driving, but you listen to it. I have a feeling that the XMAX off of a LANZAR Opti150 sealed will still be to much for my wife.

I'm curious about your thoughts. I've had 2 10"XS's a few years back and there's a XS124 on ebay right now, so I'm thinking about getting it, just not sure.

I ran two XS124's for a while just recently.

They hit hard enough but they didn't extend as far down as my RSd's now do. They also didn't have quite the "fullness" of the RSd, they were still quite musical and enjoyable without being too loud.

that amp bridges to 300 right? the xs is a little bit more efficant then the xmax so you should get some more volume....but if you already hae the xmax so you might as well rock it. i'm sure she wont mind.

the rsd10 is a better sub then either of them however.

although....i would trade one of my xs12's for the xmax10 if its in decent shape....
