so ive got a couple of the rsd12's (the regular ones, not the comps). The rated rms on those is 350 but ive heard they can take a bit more. Would it be prudent of me to put them on an rsd1200.1 (at 2 ohms I was thinkin) or is that overkill. It's gonna be a bit b4 i can buy, but i wanna picture it all in my head for now..oh, if i do use that amp on those subs in an 06 Sonata, what kinda db might i be lookin at? the box im building is gonna be 1.53cu per chamber (displacement included).

From what others say they can take a lot more than the RMS so I would say go for it! Just make sure you set the gains correctly and I'm sure you will be fine. Check out the reviews section for some reviews on the subs.

You won't hurt those subs on a 1200.1, if you set your gains correctly and so forth. There are people running single RSD subs on 1200.1's. Good luck with the system, and keep us updated.

Give them hell. I have two on about 230W each and they sound good but they'll just love more power.
