The second terminal is used to run power to the LEDs... my PG prefab dual 12 box has the same thing.

Wait, so PG really did make that box??!! I didn't know they did that! Man, if they did build that it really does leave something to be desired. Check out the carpeting job as well. I figured this was a CC or BB special that he was trying to pawn off as something PG made. I guess you really do learn something every day!

It's possible, though I haven't seen any curved PG boxes before. Mine had a logo on it as well.

thats a PG box for sure, they had stacks of them at the F&F sale laster year. they were built to be "bass Pckages" and came with octane R amps.

they were good looking boxes, i'm sure over time that box saw some abuse and the carpet got pulled

Those boxes were designed at PG, the first few built here... (I think the carpet really makes these sound kick ass  ) Although the curved front bits keep you from shoving your speakers up against the back seat, and provide a nice handle to carry it for speed freak thieves.

They work really well with the speakers they were designed for. And at the right price. Why should the box be worth more than the speakers and amp combined?

I'd be interested in seeing the links to the cheaper and better set up being sold by any major amp/woofer manufacturer. Remember: this came with an amp and an install kit.

Oh yeah, the different terminals were so that idiots wouldn't hook speakers up to the LEDs and vice versa.
