Hey guys ,
I noticed something in the M25 manual which I cannot figure out, this is for the rest of the guys too.
It states a 7th order bandpass enclosure, I can only find refrence to 6th order, please explain how do you achieve a 7th order.
Thanks

Easy. You put a 3rd order inside a 4th order.

Now I am even more confused,
I assumed it was an ISO baric 6th order, so both sides vented.

the "orders" were more or less marketing hype of the time. The enclosures can be summed up into something like 3 categories as "orders" beyond that they are a modification of the original design process.
bandpass:
design 1- completely enclosed speaker firing into sealed chamber on one side and ported side on the other.
design 2- as above but this time both chambers are ported.
design 3- as above but both ported chambers fir into a 3rd ported chamber, see BOSE. This design allows crap speakers to be tuned to the most effective balance of it's ability while keeping motor noise and low levels of distortion out of the equation.
