Big 3 ground question for Nissan

Ok, here is the deal. I have an 05 Nissan Frontier and I wanted to do the Big 3. Well after looking around I noticed this small box around my stock ground wire, then there is a plug on this small plastic box with 2 wires.
Well I got the wiring diagram for it.
The stock ground wire runs threw a Battery Current Sensor.
The plug thats on the sensor says To Engine Control System.

So my question is. If I leave that alone and ADD the 1/0 gauge wire from the battery - to the chassis and from the chassis to the block will this cause any problems?
I asked about it on caraudio and some people said go ahead and do it.
I asked the service guy at the Nissan shop and he said there is no way for him to tell me yes or no for sure.
I just dont want to mess anything up. Can anyone help me or know who could?

Truck has a 110 amp alt, 800cca Interstate, stock wire + - looks to be 4 gauge.

Either that, or connect them both to the ground terminal on the battery.

Chassis => Battery <= Block'o'Stuff

is electrically no different than

Battery => Chassis <= Block'o'Stuff

The dealer can't tell you yes or no, because if it causes a problem when he said it wont, he could be liable.

Ya, I figured that myself. I just wanted to know what it really did.
I know adding the bigger wire will cause it to flow in the path of the least resistance and I would think bypass the sensor?

How about something like this grounding kit? I've read good things about it but nothing goes to the battery - ?
