EQ215x / EQ230

Post by paulbfd »

Just thinking about EQ'ing, fairly certain it will be needed.

I'll be running an Outlaw which I know has built in x-overs, but if I've read the manual right, the HP/LP will be the same, which isn't always the best option. Again if I read correctly, the 215x crossover points are fixed HP/LP???

So I was thinking, EQ215x LP at whatever point (24db too, which I prefer on sub) to the M50 section. Then using the Aux output to send full range to the M100 and use it's x-over to high pass at whatever point is most suitable.

But in the back of my mind as I plan on competing this I'm thinking would the EQ230 be better for EQ'ing and getting the best out of my install?

You can change the frequency of the filter on the 215x by using an R-NET. Check the how-to section for a guide on how to buy these.
