Anyone have any suggestions for a double din with some good audio related features?

naw dont worry bout it. I have the space so I thought might as well fill it out. I may not.
I have a set of dynaudio 7" comp set I am going to use...just need a box, amp, and deck.
I know it would belittle the dyns but those new exile amps dont look too bad.

The 8 series of kenwoods will hae good voltage, and if it's an older one will have nav as an option. If you want real tuning, get a W205/H701. I don't care much for the pioneers, but some don't like the kenwoods.
BTW, good call on the dyns, I love mine!!!

For what it's worth ... Pioneer has a strick internet policy on thier navi systems. Being an authorized Pioneer dealer I had to sign numerous contracts ment to keep me from selling anything online. Of coarse like everything else, it's still out there.
BUT .. the problem will be if you ever have issues, Pioneer has flat out refused to service navi product that isn't accompanied with a reciept of purchase from an authorized dealer. In or out of warranty. Reguardless of the problem.
Not trying to bust anyone's balls about trying to save a few bucks. Just a heads up on the repair issue. I had 2 different non-customers try to get something fixed by going thru me after buying on-line. Pioneer sent the packages right back with VOID stamped all over the box.
Also, I wouldn't recommend this or the Z2 for that matter as an SQ piece. Would definately recommend a line driver if someone does get one of these. Week signal out. Like 1/2 volt maybe..
That said, you may want to check out the new dbl din piece. I just got my 1st ones this morning. Three 4V outputs, 7-band eq, built-in bluetooth and looks awesume!

No problem. Also, as far as I can tell, the only difference between the 'Premier' and the regular line product on this unit is simply the 2yr warranty on the premier vs 1yr on the regular line. Correct me if I'm wrong (please) but I couldn't find anything else different. Besides the $50 MSRP over the regular line.

Pardon my ignorance but may I order online and still get the full warranty?

I believe Crutchfield is the only 'authorized' on-line dealer. But policies aren't as heavily policed on the non-navi products. They are leaning more on the advertized price with the non-navi stuff. So .. if you wanted to stop by my shop (wink wink) I could give you a deal.

So I finally have commited to doing a system in this 98 Maxima. This is going to be an extreme budget system in terms of money and time as I already have plenty of both in the Z.
The only thing I am going to use is one of two Eclipse aluminum cone 10s...can't remember the model number but they were the ones with the big magnets.
One should pound hard enough and sound good.
I am still going back and forth about a deck. I really do not want to spend too much on this($200 at most). Pioneer's ipod and usb interface looks nice but I really haven't paid too much attention to decks recently.
For components I think RSD6.5s should work well. I am not sure what I can get those for but hopefully cheap enough sub 100 dollars.
As for an amp. I want to drive the system off one 4 channel amp. I have been eyeing this (dont laugh) Pyle amp:

If anyone has any ideas, point me in the right direction!

My eclipse sub is a duel 4ohm voice coil so I think I am going to need something with a little more crunch.
