I am going to guess 425 amps of current draw. ;)

somebody needs to make an amp that does 200 @ 4 ohms on 2 channels, 100 @ 4 ohms on another 2 channels and then somewhere around 500-750 x1 @ 4 ohms for a sub.

price it around $500-$750 and that would be the perfect amp for me. active front with staggered outputs, and then a decent sized sub channel.

no need for that much, and no need to spend 4 grand on an amp. but cool non the less.

If I could develop my own dream super one amp solution, I might go with something like this:

24db Butterworth Crossovers on all channels

Channel 1 & 2: 50 watts @ 4 ohms stereo (tweeters)
Channel 3 & 4: 100 watts @ 4 ohms stereo (mids)
Channel 5 & 6: 175 watts @ 4 ohms stereo (mid-bass)
Channel 7 & 8: 250 watts @ 4 ohms stereo or 750 4 ohms mono. (sub stage)

But that is just me dreaming and knowing it will take a large diesel motor with dual alts to power it, and about the size of the VLX-400. ;)
