I am opening a store in Austin, TX and I am trying to decide what to put in my demo vehicle. It's going to be a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado extended cab and I want to do a wall of sealed subs. I plan on using a high current relay to shut off most of the subs when doing SQ-type demos. My thought is to use nice of the Rsd 12's in a DVC configuration. I have a DD M3 amp to run them and I am probably going to put each sub in series and then parallel all nine for a .88 ohm load on the amp. With the electrical system I plan on doing my sub amp should put out 3000 watts, maybe a little more. This gives me just over 300 watts per sub. I have been away from the US for 3 years so I haven't been able to hear any PG subs, so I would like to know how the Rsd 12's sound on 300 watts. I have approximately 1.4 cubic feet per sub NET.
EDIT: I just made a decision to use 3 of the RSd1200.1 amps,1 per 3 subs. I am also going to use three of the RSd 250.2 amps to power three RSd 65 cs component sets, and I will be using a single set for SQ and all three sets for demos.

they would do well.....12"RSDc's would do better

ooh, and they are available in Duel 2ohm also, which might give you some different power options

Well, I want to use the RSd's simply because they are lighter. I need to keep weight in mind using that many lol

ah. well 1.4 is enough space for them, and 300 is a little under what i would normally reccomend...but with 9 of them...i think you can overcome that!

I certainly hope 9 will make some noise. I would go with more amps, but it's gonna be really, really tough getting all of those amps , subs and then batteries in there as it is LOL.
I just e-mailed my PG rep and I'll hopefully hear from him about this soon. I wanna get this build done in the June/July time frame so I can open the store before the end of this year.

I honestly have no idea what's going on in Austin, LOL. I have been overseas (wife in USAF) in Germany for three years. My PG rep is Chuck Neuse, he's the Texas rep.

Hey Glenn!
If you wanna listen to a RSd 12 in Germany, why haven't you asked me? Of course, I have one...
