Does those small Xmax subs work also as midbass? Playing somewhere between 50...300 Hz range like in ZPA amp manual's example.

Yes. The freq responce was like 40Hz to 1000Hz. I'll have to look it up.

The manual states 30Hz to 700Hz. Just looked it up.

I ran mine IB on my very well deadened doors off the rear channels of a ZX475. Watch the bass boost I had to put mine to -6 or so to get a decent blend as they were too over powering in lower notes before the subs took over. Ran mine 70-350hz
