PG Rare & Limited Edition Registry

Post by fuzzysnuggleduck »

This thread is locked, the new Registry thread is here.

This is the PG rare and limited edition registry thread. All rare and limited edition gear that anyone owns or knows enough about can be posted and listed here. We had some people mention this idea recently so I decided to create this thread to give the idea a shot.

The goal of this thread is to create a catalog of all the rare and LE amps (and possibly other gear?) that can be referenced for various purposes including tracking amps and doing pre-purchase research.

Please refrain from too much random chatter and understand that it will be removed over time to make the thread much more legible. At some point, I think it might make sense for me or Tom to build a table of contents (with links) in the top post, assuming we get enough entries to warrant that kind of maintenance. Another idea is to have one post per rare or LE amp...?

If you want a write-up to accompany your amp's listing for any particular reason, please post the write-up in this thread and I'll make a link from your amp's entry in this post to your write up so people can easily find it. Also, if you'd like a link to a picture of your amp, please provide the link and it shall be done!

So go ahead and post your rare and LE amp details include amp name, serial #, finish, etc.

Update 27/01/09: Moved all our hosted images to http://download.phoenixphorum.com/Phorum/Registry/ and finished adding the links to the images for the last couple posts that were laying around. Outstanding questions/issues are the only posts remaining in the thread now.

Update 26/01/09: I went through everything again and added all the things that were instantly applicable. If a post of yours remains in this thread it's because I don't know if I should add it or because it included images that I was too lazy to upload and link to from your registry entry. This will eventually be done.

Update 07/07/08: I've gone and cleaned up all the extra posts and made sure, to the best of my ability, that the list is up to date. Anything posts in this thread that have been left are there because they contain unresolved information. Please respond to any outstanding questions I have to get your amps added to the list. If you notice anything from one of your amps is wrong or missing, just post the information you want on the list in this thread and I'll add it.

While these are great amps, they aren't LE... although they are somewhat rare. I'll leave them out for now unless other people feel they should be added.

I'll leave this off unless other people feel it should be added. Again, I don't want to be Mr. decision maker here, others can chime in and let us know what they think about certain amps being added.

Agreed. Unless it's a limited edition amp or one-of-a-kind custom, I don't think it needs to be here.

For example, I think the Ti400.2 AL and MS2250's aren't unique enough to be here, since they were production amps.

You're totally right... but that means removing amps. Should I go ahead and remove the full production amps from the list?

I have not been around much but since I am about to install the amp I came back around. It is actually an LE octane, #05081372940005 with birth sheets from 2/11/02 and the bass cube. It has never been powered up yet and I have been looking forward to having one of these since I started installing in the early 90's. I'll be sure to post pics when it is finished, hopefully not more then a couple of weeks.

Matt u remember about the 2 MS2125 i told u i had at home that came with a birthsheet for a MAC? Those are the two i sold to my friend in Austria! I sold him those 2 for 900Euro 8) They didn´t have the description with em but i´ll manage to get the test sheets again and scan them!

@thunderdome: Which outputs do u have to use when u run it in bridge mode? I think i had to use the 2 inner ones!

I have a few things I want to add....
NIB Bandit
Outlaw
one of a kind Route 66 (9.9/10 cond.)
2 original MS2250s with shrouds
Reactor No 15
Custom MS1000ta

Most of the amps are stashed away and will take an army to find and remove them their wrapping, so I'll take them out when I can to log-in their SN#s

I sold most of my other stuff <ZX/Ti amps>. I still have the M collection in tact and an almost compete MS collection :D but I dont think I'll post SN#s since they rare not LE amps. I don't believe the MS2250s are LE, but they are damn rare.
