yeah, they dont have the plastic like the other comp sets.

i bought 4 sets of them on local Craigslist.

they went to itchner, onemoreamp, stipud, and i kept a set.

all came without plastic boots.

and the seller was Keith Peterson himself

Hey Bfowler, did you ever ask if he had any left? In another thread you said you could check. If he does maybe we could work something out. I know I'm Canadian but....we're not all bad.

what bmw? you might check the manual for the exile xp5. it is a little bigger then the 4" you wanted, (cut out is 4.5") and is VERY shallow

No prob, thanks anyways. I have one set of 4" comps NIB but couldn't pass up another set at the price he had listed. I'll just wait till I come across a set of 6 1/2". I'm in no rush though.

It a new 2007 E90 328i I just picked up with the logic 7 set up 13 speakers 2 7" subs under the seats. I picked a old set of Orion 8"MB I can mount there.
I want to add my Frank and Route 66 to make it all happen. I have to pick a deck but am thinking for price and look the Clarion 9255
the ones in the door are 4" but only a 2 deep mounting.
looking for shallow mb quarts or I heard Focals work
