Due to personal reason (my son health) I might be selling off my stereo to pay off some bills. So how much do you guys think I could get if I would sell the stereo as a package deal? Or am I better off selling everything separetly?

First of all, I hate to hear this news! I hope things don't come to this and your son gets better man!

With that being said, I think if it does come to this you would be better off selling your system piece by piece. There won't be many people who can buy the whole thing in one shot.

I second the sell each item indovidually. I would think you would actually get more $ if sold peice by peice other than selling it as a whole and having to sell it a little cheaper as a package.

As Tibbs said, I dont think anyone will be able to take that whole thing. I told myself that I wasnt going to buy anything else, But if it helps out a fellow member, I see some things that i could probably find room in the closet for.

Separately is always best. You might find someone who will pay for a package deal, but most likely not nearly what the lot is worth. You'll fetch more from people that want to buy single items...

IE: lets just say you had only two reactors to sell....

IF you sold them separately you might get like 650-750 a peice....

whereas if you sold them together you might get 1200....

I mean you might get 1400....but most people will want a quantity discount, or might not have the money for EVERY piece in the lot.

oh and we all hope it does not come to that. We all hope your son gets better. Good luck.

And just for Stipud's sake, not sure if he has a 400.2 AL, I'll Dib him that if you NEED to sell anything.

Don't do the package deal....individually(sp.) is best....so sorry to hear about your sons health..let me know when you are planning to sell i'll take dibs on the ti elite 9's(I'm assuming a pair).

Sorry to hear tha kiddo is abit under the weather...... I know that I'd sell a lung and a kidney in a heart-beat for my kids if it came to it.

I'll call dibs on the Ti-15's but lets hope it doesn't come to that. I'd even be willing to "hold" these in my collection for ya.

As for the sale, I have the same opinion everyone else does. Sell individually. It will involve more dealings but you'll get better value.

First I would like to say thanks to everyone for the kind words in regards of my son. From reading all of the replies selling separately will be the road that I’ll use if I decide to sell the stereo separately from the civic. I’m still dealing with all with everything and haven’t really sat down and made a final decision on what I’m going to do. For sure I’ll keep all dibs on what people want and by the end of the week I’ll have to make a decision. I already have some interest in regards of the civic but not sure if they want the stereo or not, it does affect the price…which I still haven’t had time to decide!!! Again thank you. By the way Bfowler I might keep a little bit , this is no easy decision.
