Question about box size (sealed)

I built a sealed box for 2 RFD Punch HX2 2212's and i messed up the numbers :x and built it too big. Low notes rock hard and shake the car but higher bass notes have almost no output.

Would going with a box too big cause higher bass notes (say above 60 or so) to become very queit, while lower notes rocking hard?

I ask becuase I want to try building another one, but this time so I get lows that shake the car and higher notes the punch hard.

P.S. Anyone have expirence with these subs?

i have noever worked with those, so no high output might be the nature of the subs (like the xenon's)

try putting in some blocks of wood to take up space and see if that help before you go through with building a new box for nothing.

in my experience, a smaller box will help it with some high not out put, but ever sub is different. good luck

Just for reference, i had an RSD 12 in a 1.8 sealed and the same was happening. The highs had more volume thennow but still sucked. My crossovers were fine. Never got around to playing with it becuase i blew it by accident (stupid mistake)

I wonder if it has something to do with my car :?:

HAve you ever gotten decent bass output in that range in THAT car?

It may be your car's natural acoustics.

But no, a box that's to big shouldn't kill your high end bass.

I have only had the above two setups and neither of them have had good output in that range.

If there anything i can do?
