General box building?

Hey all ,

I am going to be designing a few enclosures and have played with WiniSd and Bassbox 6 pro and had pretty good results I guess :? .
I was curious to see if someone can find a program or calculator that can make it easier when finding the dimentions for volume , for example if I needed to build a 5.0 cf box outta 1.0 mdf I could type that in and then it would list the dimentions according to box shape. I thought that bassbox and winisd had that kind of tool in them but I cant find it if they do Any help , tips perhaps a place with blueprints to help make it easier?
I have built many of boxes in the past but now i want to be as accurate as I can be with minimal headaches , but if I have to go to the drawing board with a pen, paper and calculator , so be it :D

Length*Width*Height=Volume

There is not a software program that I am aware of that does that.

However if you plug in the outer dimensions then you can minus the cubic volume of the mdf (24"x24"x1").

Or you can plug in the inner dimensions and just assume the additional 2" in width (assuming 1" mdf).

Maybe one of the other board members knows of a different software program?

Thanks,

I have been playing with Bassbox this morning and I think I may have found a way. Under box design properties under VB: I entered 4.5 cf and the basic box design using 1 inch mdf is H 19.81 w 32.06 d 12.24

Considering this particular driver requires a 11'' + port I think I need to recalculate the depth.

Thanks for the help and keep it comin

It was a trip trying to get the dimensions for my RSDs. I needed a box so small but still needed something that was big enough for the stupid sub
