Dag Bertje,

Thanks for the pics!

Do you replace your sil-pads with every cap change?

I do on every amp for sure....
Last time I ordered 100 silpads, and 20 caps at once; Didier keeps bringing amps my way for cleaning and capchange...
[last time 3x MS275, 1xMAC200, and an original MS2250]

p.s Martin; silpads are the thin silicon plates between the fets and the heatsink, for electrical isolation, and heat-transfer.
They age, and when the board has to be taken out of the heatsink, they are better replaced!

The silpads I only exchange when they are in bad condition. When they are looking OK, why changing? Isolation and heatconduction don't change that much I think.

Rob; WHY NOT change them?
They are cheap, and how many times do you take out your board?
Most of the times when you remove the board, the silpads leave a print on the heatsink, which indicates they leave some of their material on the sink; re-using them would be a bad idea IMO.
