PG Octane - R and other mono amps.

Hi, What about Octane R 800 watts mono amp ?
And the Ryval?
What you say about them compared to Xenons or Other brands Like Alpine, Soundstream, Orion amplifiers on the same range of price?
Note.:I have a X600.1 and like it very much.A friend wnats to buy a 500/800 Wrms amplifier to his JL 12W3.

the octane-r will rock that JL for sure.

the ryval is superior all accross the board, but more expensive.

when you say same price range, do you mean what xenon's are currently go for? for those prices....the xenon is the best hands down

And did they come with a Birthsheet?
Do you think a Octane-R 5.0 mono can make more than 400Wrms of real power on 2 Ohms, since they are rated at 300Wrms on 2Ohms?

the octanes did not come with a birth sheet.

honestly...no, think the 5.0:1 wil make RIGHT at 300 watts.

you might have to step up to a xenon 400.1, or stick with the 8.0:1
