M25 problem..

Well my m25 just arrived in yesterday, and it sounds great, but sometimes it will randomly just start making a real loud hissing noise. I was forced to turn my deck off quick for fear of blowing my tweets. I disconnected the rcas, and still got hissing, and I also checked the ground, which seems to work just fine for the other amp I was using before this one.. Any ideas what the problem could be? Faulty/ old electronics on the m25? Note this amp still has the oem caps, and parts, as I just bought it fom someone. Ive never ran into an issue like this ever.

Caps may be shorting out. I would definitely replace them on ANY M/MS series that hasn't had the treatment yet. The M series is SO easy to do, you really have no excuse not to
Other than that, look for loose wire traces shorting things out. Try connecting a test speaker off of some short wires in the trunk, to rule out a short in your speaker wires. Look for any visible damage or loose parts in the amp when you change your caps.

The M series definitely sound great. PG engineered a good line of amps as well. Each model incrementally suits a particular purpose.
