Adjusting Preout Level with TLD22

Post by marcus »

Hey guys,

I have a TLD22 that I'm going to use with my Kenwood DDX-6019 DVD player. Does anyone know how to use a multimeter to read the voltage so that when I turn the dial's on the line driver that my Titanium amps only see the max 6v preout.
Right now I don't have any of the amps in the car yet. Just want to get the head unit all mounted and get the line driver mounted so that part is all done.

Thanks for your help guys
Marcus

Welcome to the Phorum!
Hook up the positive on your DMM to the center pin of your RCA, and hook up the negative on you DMM to the outside of the RCA.
You can then adjust that channel of your linedriver and watch the voltage. Repeat for the other channel.

Thank dwnrodeo.

Much appreciated. I wasn't sure how to hook that up properly.

Have a great day.
