Can I add a second set of comps in the front?

My amp has plenty of power for it. Is there a trick to avoiding cancellation?

The trick to avoiding cancellation is to run the drivers and tweets on the same axis and keep them in the same phase as the first component set.

Of course you can vary but you will have varied success. It might take some trial and error to it to your liking.

So as long as they are as close as possible to the first set?

Well, yeah.

I mean if you put them far away from each other, there will be different reflections that could cause cancellations.

As close, on axis, same phase.

But you can definitely experiment and see if you like low AND high tweeters, even if you have to roll off some high end. Stuff like that.

Or just add a second set of midbass? If the tweet is positioned properly that shouldnt be a problem!

Yeah, as Fuzzy said, they need to be mounted on the same plane... otherwise it won't sound good at all.
