Just scored a BNIB Ti 900.7, couple questions..

First, I have never used a Ti series amp so there is a bit of a learning curve for me.. and yes, it should be considered stolen for the price I paid!
There are two fans.. Do they both take air in or blow hot air out? Is one an intake and one exhaust? Trying to plan my install... Second, what is the difference between the RDDP and the RMD?
Also, what the heck is an AL edition 900.7?
Thanks!

AL indicates aluminum case. I believe Stipud has one as well. You say BNIB - No manual?
Ti 900.7 Manual
RMD - Remote Monitoring Display - A digital readout of the actual voltage being received by the connected amplfier. Connects via RJ11. Any Ti manual will have a description. Can't find a specific manual for the device itself. Tantrums have these as well.
RMD PinOut
RDDP - Remote Diagnostics Display Port
RDDP Manual
RDDP PinOut

The AL version means that the case is entirely made of Aluminum instead of steel.
This makes the amps waaaay lighter and unable to rust as so many steel Ti cases do. Plus, they are rare... well, in comparison to the normal Ti amps.

Ahh.. Aluminum.. Makes sense.
HH- I just picked the amp up and it does have the manual, though kinda sparse for info. It says something about sensing the absence of a center channel and diverting power resources to the other channels, damn cool!
I bought this as a means of condensing my install... An aluminum case would be badass, think Phil could get me one?
Also, is the 900.7 kind of a rare beast? There seems to be little info on the interwebs..

Stipud is up on these versions as he runs one in his daily driver, I believe. He'll chime in this thread for sure, eh.
I suggest they are relativley rare, especially as Fuzzy pointed out, with an AL wrapping. Does your have an AL roof?

I dunno how rare the normal ones are, I suspect probably a few hundred or so were made although I have no real idea.
I stipud has all Ti AL amps. I think he has a 500.4, a 900.7 and a 1200.1 in AL. I also have his TiDD10 which is also in AL.
They are very versatile amps. For most systems, they will provide more than enough power. If you're going for SPL though, you would look elsewhere. A great full-system SQ amp.

Both fans are intake, and they exhaust out the grilles on the sides, and in the middle.
The RDDP was a little box you could plug a voltage display and remote amp status display (three LEDs: overload, thermal, OK) through. It was more expensive than the RMD. If you don't have an RMD port, you can make an RMD work by cutting off and splicing some wires to the RDDP jack, or power terminals.
AL amps are aluminum, so they are lighter and don't rust. Downside is they rattle a bit (I install sound deadener under my lids) and they don't match the regular Ti equipment... thus why I bought EVERYTHING in AL

Nope, shes got a tin roof..
I fired her up on the bench last night, the trifecta of blue LED's are friggin bright! I really like the red glow from the windows coming from the LED's on the board, too. PG really got the look down on the Ti series, this coming from a guy that normally boners up for finned pieces, ala MS series and PPI pre-art series.
Does anyone think it would be worth my while to call PG about an AL top? The beast is somewhat portly..

You can definitely try to give them a call...but I dont think they have any TI AL cases anymore...but again, worth a shot! If they do, let me know! I've got two 900.7's!
